The Norwegian monarchs descend from this line. King Edward's daughter Maud became Queen consort of Norway. His descendants include King George V, King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II, and King Charles III. Prince Albert Edward, later King Edward VII became king of England. Their son would be the last emperor of Germany. Princess Victoria married Friederich Wilhelm of Prussia.
